The Philadelphia 76ers big man appeared on Golden State Warriors center Draymond Green’s podcast and gave him a taste of his own medicine. Embiid said he would dunk on the Warriors’ star 31 times in one game, setting up an interesting potential matchup between them during the NBA season.
The “draymond green” is a podcast hosted by the NBA player and Philadelphia 76ers star, draymond green. On the show, he invited his friend, Joel Embiid to come on and talk about their friendship. However, the interview took a turn when Embiid started talking trash about Green’s team.
Draymond Green and Joel Embiid are two of the NBA’s most outspoken trash-talkers. When the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers meet on the floor, you can guarantee there will be some fireworks.
The superstars recently took their rivalry off the court and onto Green’s podcast, where Embiid discussed his path to the NBA, the Ben Simmons drama, and the Sixers’ present predicament. Things grew heated along the road, and Embiid took a savage jab at Green regarding his shooting.

Basketball is much more than simply putting the ball through the hoop. For decades, the mental game and the art of trash talk have been critical to NBA success, and few players know how to get into their opponents’ minds like Green and Embiid.
The two-time All-Stars are two of the NBA’s most outspoken trash-talkers, and every time they meet on the floor, havoc ensues. Over the years, Green and Embiid have been engaged in several hard fouls, yelling bouts, and other incidents. Despite this, the two have mutual respect for one other’s approaches to the game.
“It’s one of my favorites. In 2017, Green stated of Embiid, “I’m a fan of the way he plays, the way he conducts himself, the talking and all that.” “It appeals to me.” I believe that more men should be like that.”
Green and Embiid have become friends off the court in recent years, but they still have their disagreements.
Embiid joined Green’s podcast and immediately attacked his shooting ability.

Embiid took a break from his MVP campaign to join Draymond Green on the most recent edition of The Draymond Green Show, where he discussed his move from Africa to the United States, the 76ers’ season-long drama, and more. For all the NBA lovers out there, this is a must-listen.
However, tempers rose at one point throughout the program, and the two threw a few punches back and forth. Green was mocked by Embiid about the necessity for double-teams to cover him before Embiid tried for the death shot.
“You can create plays because you can’t shoot the hoop,” Embiid says.
“Hey, but I make every other play,” Green says. I’m going to can your ass if you leave me open down the stretch.”
“But would I rather create Stephen Curry or have you defeat us?” Embiid asks. I’d pick you above anybody any day.”
Is there a chance of a meeting in the NBA Finals?

The Warriors seem like NBA championship contenders again now that Green is back in the lineup after missing more than two months due to injury. The acquisition of James Harden to the 76ers elevates them to one of the most dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference.
Is it possible that Embiid and Green will meet in the NBA Finals? We certainly hope so, as do they.
“Hopefully we’ll meet in the Finals,” Green added. “As you know, I’m locking that s*** up like nobody else in this league.”
That would be an epic war.
