The Lakers are admitting to their mistakes by shopping DeAndre Jordan and Kent Bazemore.

The “lakers game score” is a blog post by Lakers Nation that discusses the team’s roster mistakes. The article discusses how the Lakers are admitting to their roster mistakes and shopping DeAndre Jordan and Kent Bazemore.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ first few months of the 2021-22 season haven’t gone as planned. Instead, the Lakers are hovering around.500, with increasing doubts that, despite LeBron James’ ageless talent, they will be able to challenge for the NBA championship in 2022. Due of these constraints, the Lakers have admitted to making roster blunders by signing DeAndre Jordan and Kent Bazemore in the summer.

Despite LeBron James’ outstanding performance, the Lakers are battling to establish consistency.

The Lakers have struggled to establish consistency after a hectic summer.

Significant injuries and COVID-19-related concerns have limited the roster’s ability to achieve consistency. These issues, along with the team’s inconsistent play, have driven Los Angeles to the bottom of the Western Conference playoff standings.

LeBron James’ outstanding performance has kept them afloat, particularly recently, as they have won four of their previous five games. It has, however, placed a temporary band-aid on the roster changes that are required to propel them into NBA championship contention.

All of these circumstances have led the Lakers to confess that they made two mistakes in the summer.

Because of their poor start, the Lakers have decided to become more aggressive in the trade market.

Los Angeles has already made one noteworthy move by trading Rajon Rondo to the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to make room for Stanley Johnson on the roster. The Lakers aren’t done on that front, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, as the franchise is prepared to split ways with DeAndre Jordan and Kent Bazemore.

Windhorst added, “They have offloaded a guy in Rondo to create a roster place, and they’re hoping to do more of that.” “They’re out there, according to the teams I’ve spoken with.” They’re seeking to transfer DeAndre Jordan, not necessarily for another player, but to free up a roster space now that LeBron James is starting at center and Anthony Davis is back. Kent Bazemore is another guy they’ve been ready to discuss with other teams, and I believe their aim is to free up a roster space.”

“The Rondo trade seems to have been planned with Stanley Johnson in mind, but they might go to the buyout market for another player or two.” They’re attempting to find out how to do this.”

After getting their fair amount of playing time in the first few weeks, both Bazemore and Jordan have dropped out of the rotation. Bazemore has started 14 games and averaged 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds on 33.7 percent shooting in 18.1 minutes per game. He only appeared in five games in December and is yet to participate in January.

Meanwhile, Jordan has completely disappeared from the rotation, as seen by LeBron James beginning at center and playing significant minutes there. In 27 games with 18 starts, he’s averaging 4.5 points and 5.7 rebounds. Jordan last appeared in a game on Dec. 23 against the San Antonio Spurs, in which he played seven minutes. His defensive troubles took him out of the game.

Jordan and Bazemore have fallen short of their lofty expectations, making them disposable assets for the Lakers as they seek to fill other roster gaps. Bazemore and Jordan are both signed for the veteran’s minimum, making a trade for one of them a lot simpler.

Until the trade deadline, it may only be a matter of time before both have new NBA homes.

The Lakers are expected to be active in the buyout market.

Although the Lakers are having a lot of success with LeBron James at center, it’s not a lineup they want to keep using a lot.

With Dwight Howard’s return, some of that burden will be lifted, but Anthony Davis will play a significant role. Los Angeles will almost certainly go into the buyout market to recruit another big man to relieve James of some of his responsibilities. DeMarcus Cousins, for example, may be a viable alternative.

The Lakers have already used the buyout market to obtain talent, most notably with the addition of Andre Drummond last season. As the trade deadline approaches, expect more of the same.
