The NES turned 25 years old recently, and to celebrate this historic occasion, Nintendo is going to release a remastered version of its 1985 sequel Advance Wars. This impressive move by the company will allow fans both die-hard and casual alike to experience an iconic title from their childhood with updated visuals optimized for modern consoles alongside all new multiplayer modes that include online play.

The “advance wars switch release date” is a game that has been announced to be released on the Switch. The game will also be available for the 3DS and Wii U.

This fight seems to be won by Black Hole. Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Bootcamp has been postponed until spring 2022, according to Nintendo of America. The remastered collection was supposed to be released on December 3, but Nintendo postponed it to allow for “additional fine-tuning.”

Nintendo did not say when Advance Wars 1+2 would be released in spring 2022 or what caused the delay.

Salutations, soldiers! #AdvanceWars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was supposed to be released on December 3rd, will now be released in spring 2022 on #NintendoSwitch. The game just needs a bit more time to be fine-tuned. Soon, you’ll be fighting Andy and his pals! Thank you so much for your patience. pic.twitter.com/dSi8VSsxTH

However, it’s probably unsurprising that Advance Wars has been postponed. Since Nintendo’s surprising revelation at E3 2021, we’ve heard and seen very little about it.

For example, we still don’t know what’s distinctive about Re-Boot Camp. Nintendo calls it a remake, but what it differs from the original in terms of visuals and general style remains a mystery for the time being.

The Nintendo Switch, on the other hand, is far from short on Christmas games. Along with the recently released Metroid Dread, there are future releases such as Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Shin Megami Tensei V, and Mario Party Superstars, to mention a few.

Nintendo has announced that they will be delaying the release of their Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp. The game was originally scheduled to release on September 20th, but now it is set to release on October 11th. Reference: nintendo next console.
