The Rams traded up from the No. 10 spot to select Beckham Jr., who is still only 23 years old, in the 2014 NFL Draft due to his rare combination of speed, size and strength for a wide receiver. However, questions remain about whether or not he can be an elite player on a team that hasn’t made it back to the Super Bowl since 2002.

The “what team is odell beckham on” is a question that has been floating around since the Rams traded for the wide receiver. Beckham Jr.’s time as a “great teammate” might not be enough to keep him in LA long-term.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s choice to join the Los Angeles Rams has enhanced his NFL prospects significantly. The talented wideout is assisting the Rams in their quest for a lengthy postseason run, which might culminate in a large salary in free agency. Beckham’s status has become a question mark before the Los Angeles Rams meet the reigning champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the Rams, Odell Beckham Jr. boosted his stock.

Beckham’s status has taken a significant damage as a result of his dismal time with the Cleveland Browns.

His short stay with the Rams, on the other hand, has only served to enhance his reputation and NFL prospects. He needed a few weeks to acclimatize, but he’s now an important part of the Los Angeles passing game. In eight regular-season games, he caught 27 passes on 48 targets for 305 yards and five touchdowns.

Beckham was instrumental in the Giants’ wild-card round victory against the Arizona Cardinals, catching four passes for 54 yards and a score. He’s shown that he’s still a deadly red-zone threat and a big-play threat.

His long-term status was once again a topic of conversation before of the Buccaneers’ divisional playoff meeting.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s stint with the Rams as a ‘Great Teammate’ may not be enough to retain him in LA in the long run.

Sean McVay was questioned a lot about OBJ today, and he continued to say how much he enjoys being around him, how much he appreciates his efforts as a “great teammate,” and how much he wants him to be a part of the Rams in the future. When Beckham was signed, it was rumored that the club was already looking for a long-term solution.

As the Rams prepare for their divisional playoff battle against the Buccaneers, there are plenty of worries about their roster’s future.

As he prepares to enter free agency next offseason, Odell Beckham Jr. is toward the top of the list. Sean McVay, the team’s head coach, recently addressed the situation, saying he’s appreciated having the Pro Bowl wideout around.

“It’s been a tremendous pleasure to be around Odell,” McVay added. “I like working with him, and we’re having a great time together.” We’ll have to see what the future brings, but I’ve enjoyed every second of being with this man.”

Beckham has been a “wonderful teammate” and a good fit in the locker room, according to McVay. Meanwhile, Beckham expressed interest in returning to the Rams.

“Absolutely. On Saturday, Beckham Jr. told the reporters, “It’s something to think about after the season.” “I’ll be precisely where God wants me to be.” It’s not anything that I’m thinking about right now. I’m just so focused on the opportunity we have here and why I decided to come here, and I want to make the most of it while letting the chips fall where they may. And the rest is always in God’s hands.”

Beckham has seamlessly integrated into the Rams’ culture as a key component of the offensive game plan. He’s developed into a significant red-zone danger, making many key receptions that have contributed to Los Angeles’ success.

However, because of his great performance in a Rams outfit, retaining the 29-year-old may be challenging.

In free agency, OBJ will pique a lot of attention.

Since joining the Rams, Beckham’s performance has only increased his worth in the league.

He accepted a hefty salary cut to join Los Angeles, which will help him land lucrative free agency contracts. Beckham has shown that he can still be a game-changing player, particularly in the red zone, and that he can still be a team’s No. 1 passing game.

The Rams will make a strong attempt to re-sign him, but it will be a tough challenge given their projected salary-cap constraints. To generate significant salary-cap room, the front management will have to do a lot of financial gymnastics. Meanwhile, Los Angeles may not have a chance to re-sign him since he may get a contract outside of their budget.

Teams like the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, and Seattle Seahawks might all be interested in signing the talented wide receiver. Time will tell, but the Rams may find it too financially difficult to maintain him.
